Clash of the Guildmasters! Reika vs. Kasumi

Kasumi made an attempt to follow Maddox and get Syana. She felt that if possible, she'd rather not fight. She wanted to know what she was up against and the only things she really knew were that they were of Phantom Cloak and that they were strong enough to really mess up Syana. The other Mage had different plans however and Kasumi found herself tripping on the sudden introduction of force. Tucking her body in to prevent getting hurt too badly, she rolled on the floor to face the other mage.



The ability to conjure metal? That's what she assumed at least. There wasn't many places for her to hide a big chain like that if she was carrying it and from what she observed before, that wasn't there. It was nice to know, but Kasumi still wasn't too sure to what extent the girls abilities were able to reach. Kasumi was glad that she had at least something to go off. She was gonna have a hard time considering wind magic wasn't too effective against metal magic.



Using her wind-powered chakrams, she quickly sliced through the chain that was holding her. She could still fell some of it wrapped around her ankle, but at least she was free to move now. From the sound of it, the Mage wasn't going to let her go easily. Pushing herself up, she took a deep breath and stepped into a fighting stance. She knew that it wasn't going to be easy and the odds were stacked against her. The nature of her magic was alone to seal that, let alone the fact that she was probably going up a magic type that wind had difficulties dealing with. If she could give Maddox some time thigh, that was what she could do.



Still charged with wind, she threw one of her Chakrams at the Mage. Running to the right, she delayed her second throw for a while, using the attacks to judge what she was up against. She could feel anxiousness seep into her, but she took a deep breath and calmed herself down. She let herself fall into that state of concentration that she had mastered. She was going to need it for the battle.

The girl with bright green eyes cut through her chains as if they were made out of paper. No matter, those chains did not matter, anyways. It was keeping her here that mattered. Reika watched as Maddox flew away at the sight of Zenos fleeing with Syana. She knew that Zenos would lose on purpose. After all, they had both planned it. It was better to keep torturing Maddox instead of just serving him what he deserved and leaving him alone. That much, at least, was what Reika and Zenos had planned. This little girl in front of her? Well, this girl was new. Neither of them had expected the girl to be here. Who was she, anyways? She looked frail an weak.

Reika smiled: frail and weak. Yes, she liked that.

"Your attacks are weak and predictable." Reika taunted, staying still while Kasumi ran around her, throwing some sort of spherical weapon. Reika held her arm forward, using another chain, this one stronger than the last, and shot it out at the first chakram. If it hit, it would wrap around the weapon and effectively ground it. Reika turned her attention back to the foolish girl running around her.

Another chakram flew towards her. Without flinching, Reika simply stepped to one side, and then held out her hand as the curved weapon headed back towards Kasumi like a boomerang. Her hand quickly turned into metal. If she caught the weapon, it would have had to be stronger than the metal to pierce through her hand. Otherwise, she caught it.

"Please, darling, do try a little harder. I'm Phantom Cloak's guild master, after all." she held up her wrist to her mouth, barely trying to stifle a laugh. "Of all things, Maddox brought you here? Personally, I'd prefer to fornicate with the little bird. You're just..." she chuckled. "Well, you're just... completely flat, darling."
