Bio
Personality:
Overly attached spirit: She gets very attached to her humans, so much she wants to spend every waking hour with those she calls friends. Everyone but her appears to also require some alone time however, and since humans can only bear with extreme clinginess for so long she ends up getting cast aside as a friend a lot.
Stubborn: Regardless of how often she’s been explained about personal space and her clinginess, she refuses to understand the other’s perspective and clings to her own.
Jealous: Once she has a friend she can easily become jealous of that friend’s other friends, or anything that could take her place in their life.
Bitter: Because of her history of getting cast aside due to her clingy behavior, and the celestial spirits fate of servitude she’s grown bitter about a whole lot of things.
Excitable: Like a dog, she tends to get overly excited over small things, and acts this out by either talking or behaving hyperactively, or both.
Loyal: She’s extremely loyal to her friends and will protect them with her life.
Involved: She’s very involved with her friends and will go out of her way to make them happy. So if e.g. their favorite food was apple pie she’d bake them an apple pie every once in a while.
Likes: Theme-parks or any park really, attention/affection, sport/sport games.
Dislikes: The rules of the spirit world, losing, decomposition(specifically the smell of it)
History:
Hundreds of years ago in Earthland as still a very young silver key spirit herself she got her very first contract, and since she’s a dog type and loyal as can be she got very attached to her contractor. Her contractor didn’t summon her very often however, and she grew jealous of the celestial wizard’s other spirits. Eventually she confronted the wizard about her predicament, and she promised to summon her more often.
Though the more time she spent by her side, the more attached she grew, and she became jealous of the wizard’s friends. They got to spend every moment of every day with her wizard, whilst she got summoned for only a few hours a day. Because of the huge time difference in the celestial world she saw her owner age much faster than her, and the mere thought of outliving her contractor bothered her. When she confronted her wizard about this they got into a fight, which resulted in her refusing to return to the spirit world.
During this period she grew fond of Earthland, the sky and smells very different from the celestial world and in her eyes more pure and beautiful. Her wizard wasn’t happy about her at all and tried to convince her that she was being too clingy and that celestial spirits and humans aren’t meant to live every second of every day together. But she wouldn’t listen to her and eventually the wizard made the decision to break their contract.
She was forced to return to the celestial world, and was so heart-broken about this that she grew bitter about celestial wizards and even the other spirits who had the audacity to lower themselves to a contract. The older she grew the more bitter she became, she disliked the spirit world and it’s rules and inhabitants, and her desire to be free in Earthland grew larger every day, but freedom wasn’t something celestial spirits could have, not at a terrible cost.
Thus she started protesting, wreaking havoc in the celestial worlds by wrecking things, and chasing after defenseless spirits such as Plues. It went from bad to worse and she eventually had to suffer the consequences and was detained. Her hateful spirit energy morphed her into something she was not, a large rabid dog beast that rampaged around the spirit world. The spirit king himself had to constrain her and put her in special chains. Over the years he and other spirts tried to get her back to normal, but nobody was able to get through to her. And that wasn’t all, the longer she remained chained in the spirit world, the more hateful energy consumed her and the more powerful she became.
To protect the spirit world the king had no choice but to destroy her, but her “friends” the spirits that belonged to her first and last contractor pleaded for mercy, and explained what happened those many years ago. Hearing this the spirit king decided to give her one last shot at redemption, and banned her to the human world, only allowed to return if she accepted her fate as a celestial spirit. Once in earthland her form immediately returned to her former self, and she had no recollection of what happened since she spiraled out of control. Yet her stubbornness knew no bounds, and she still wanted to know nothing of the spirit world or celestial wizards, even if it meant she would die from lack of spiritual rejuvenation.
She ended up tracking down her key in order to prevent a wizard to try and contract her, and spent her days making human friends and having fun. They were days of pure happiness for her, regardless of how hard it was to sustain herself in Earthland. When she was closing in on her spiritual energy limit she told her friends the truth about her, and they spent their remaining days trying to figure out a way to keep her alive. In their desperation they contacted a scientist who was wanted by the mage counsel for illegal experimentations. He experimented on her and put a celestial wizard magic lacrima in her body, allowing her to contract herself. It would give her a limit of five years, after this she would have to have it replaced. Though in order for the scientist to create another such lacrima, he needed a celestial wizard and extract their magic essence.
Her friends started to get annoyed with her over the course of time, she got more and more clingy and took their request for privacy as an insult, a deep rooted rejection from her first experience with a contractor. Their friendship was torn to pieces after many fights about her behavior and she’s been traveling ever since.
Magic
Mage Type: Celestial Spirit. Celestial spirits require spiritual energy from the spirit world to survive in Earthland. This means that if they get hurt in Earthland they need to return to the spirit world to heal. Spirits require a contractor to enable them travel to Earthland, when this contractor dies while they are still in Earthland they are not allowed to return to the spirit world. This means they will die when their spiritual energy runs out.
Mage Type Extra: She has a Celestial Wizard Magic Lacrima in her body. This grants her Celestial Wizard Magic for the duration of five years.
Elemental Affinity: Earth
Example spells:
Spells:
Spell Name: Tracking
Level: D
Range: 15 meters.
Description: The caster can sniff out an object or person within the range of the spell. Even through many layers of stone or dirt, or within a magical D rank spell that would normally prevent the smell from traveling to her nose, she can smell it.
Drawback: She requires to know the smell, thus she can’t track something she has never smelled before or can’t remember the smell of. Being bombarded by many similar smells or more dominant smells will slow down her tracking.
Spell Name: Jaw of Apathy
Level: C
Range: 0
Description: A strong merciless bite into an object or person. The caster will hold on to the object or person for as long as they choose. This means she will hold on until her magic runs out if she chooses so.
Drawback: Doesn’t do a lot of damage other than a deep bite wound and it leaves the caster wide open against attacks. Will let go in order to defend a friend in danger. Those with a special fighting skill, e.g. certain types of martial arts will have an easier time dodging this attack.
Spell Name: Bite!
Level: B
Range: 0
Description: A strong bite that will leave a deep bite wound in an object or person. The bite will come and go in a fraction of a second. She will often repeat this attack to weaken her opponent.
Drawback: The moment her teeth are sunken into the skin of the opponent she’s wide open for a counter attack, that is why she lets go of the bite fast, but she isn’t always fast enough.
Spell Name: Guillotine
Level: A
Range: 0
Description: The caster’s jaw is filled with strength, this bite able to cut through steel and other hard materials.
Drawback: The size of the bite remains the size of a human mouth, so it would take several attacks to destroy a shield.
Spell Name: Dust Storm
Level: S
Range: 100 meters
Description: A combination of digging and intense tail wagging creates a dust storm. The opponents who are caught in the storm can only see up until their torso, their lower bodies no longer visible because of the dust when they look down. Though they are better off closing their eyes, since getting dust in their eyes is very uncomfortable. They should also cover their mouths with a piece of cloth to avoid breathing in dust.
Drawback: Doesn’t do any damage to those of the same rank, unless they manage to get some dust in their airway or eyes. Drains magic power, and mages of the same rank that can cast tracking spells or have the ability of flight can easily make their way out of the dust storm. This spell requires earth, thus it can’t be performed on e.g. a brick road.
Spell Name: Spirit Gate
Level: D
Range: 0
Description: As a spirit she can move through the gate to the spiritual world. She can bring objects from the spiritual world to the human world and visa versa. Humans are only allowed to be brought through the gate if they wear spirit world clothing.
Drawback: If traveling to the spirit world alone while in a thread with others,(as a means to just pop in and out to e.g. get something or avoid an attack) has to wait until two posts have been made before able to post again. (so basically skipping two turns)
Extra: Most other spirits know her for wreaking havoc in the spirit world, but don’t know why she did so. Nobody knows that she’s obtained freedom. Plue’s were here favorite spirit to pick on, thus they will likely cower in fear in her presence.
